Paying

payment

Who pays who?

Christian service isn’t payment for grace.

Free grace can’t require payment.  It’s a gift.  It’s free.

Rather than us paying God for grace, God pays us for service.  We call it rewards.

Rewarding service protects the freeness of grace.

Additionally, rewards surpass compensation.  God extends eternal reward for simple acts of temporal service.  One time acts of service receive eternal rewards.

No one will ever say they paid for God’s grace.

Obeying, serving, worshipping, giving, loving, or any other acts of service are NEVER payment for grace.  God won’t allow it.

How do these ideas make you feel about yourself or God?
